Are you (really) ready for some football? The 2008 schedules dropped a couple f weeks ago. Some of you want to kiss your GM in the mouth, cut his grass and rename your kids after him. Draft Day has come and gone. But the rest of us are wondering what’s the freak is going on??? Several teams made great, safe, non confrontational picks. Isn’t football about lining up 11 of the meanest bad-azzez to smash / run through the other team? Not creating “new faces of the franchise”, because it’s hard to recognize a guy with his helmet on … dummy. Now we wait for mini-camp to evaluate the offense, defense, special teams, who can block and may lead in rushing. Special Teams won’t be relevant until mid-season, especially kickoff & punt return.
But now I’m feeling like most organizations are just focused on siphoning money out of the pockets of hard working loyal fans?
